UAB Sports Medicine is a department of Children's Hospital and an affiliate of the UAB Division of Orthopaedic Surgery.

With access to both Children's Health System and UAB Health System physicians and research, UAB Sports Medicine offers comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries to individuals of all ages.

UAB Sports Medicine is staffed with Orthopedic Surgeons, Sports Medicine Specialists, X-ray Technicians, Physical Therapists, Certified Athletic Trainers and Pedorthist all located in one facility. Most services can be offered in one location with an efficiency and personal touch not found at larger clinics. UAB Sports Medicine takes pride in a patient centered approach to medicine.
